Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced Design Engineer with strong expertise in Solid Works and AutoCAD to support mechanical design, drafting, and product development activities. The role involves preparing 2D/3D drawings, BOMs, fabrication layouts, and coordinating with production and vendors to ensure accurate execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare 2D & 3D mechanical drawings as per project requirements.

- Develop GADs, fabrication drawings, part drawings, and assembly drawings.

- Prepare and update BOMs and maintain technical documentation.

- Support NPD and product development activities.

- Coordinate with production/fabrication teams to resolve design-related issues.

- Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding drawings, materials, and technical requirements.

- Review vendor drawings and provide technical clarifications.

- Make design modifications based on site, production, and customer requirements.





- Maintain proper revision control of drawings and design documents.

Key Skills:

- Solid working knowledge of Solid Works for 3D modelling and mechanical design.

- Good knowledge of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and detailing.

- Ability to prepare GADs, fabrication, part, and assembly drawings.

- BOM preparation and revision control.

- Understanding of mechanical components, sheet metal, fabrication, and structural layouts.

- Knowledge of NPD and design improvement activities.

- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, tolerances, dimensions, and material specifications.

Working Conditions:

- 5 days/week, full-time role based in Moraiya, Ahmedabad.
