Role Purpose and Impact:

The PYP Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective implementation of the Primary Years Programme (PYP) within our institution. As a key leader in our educational team, you will drive curriculum development, enhance student engagement, and promote a collaborative learning environment that aligns with our mission of holistic student development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of the PYP curriculum to ensure alignment with educational standards.
- Facilitate professional development workshops for teachers to enhance instructional strategies and integrate technology into the classroom.
- Develop and implement student engagement strategies that foster inquiry-based learning and critical thinking.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to create a positive and effective learning environment through effective classroom management.
- Monitor student progress and provide actionable feedback to educators, students, and parents.




- Coordinate the assessment processes and ensure that all assessment practices are consistent and transparent.
- Act as a liaison between the school and the IB Organization to maintain accreditation standards and best practices.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff to cultivate a collaborative culture that promotes continuous improvement and innovation in education.

Requirements:

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.

Experience Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in a PYP setting or similar educational role.

Technical Skills:

- Expertise in Curriculum Development and Lesson Planning.
- Proficient in Technology Integration in Education.
- Strong Classroom Management capabilities.

Soft Skills:

- Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written).
- Strong Interpersonal Skills.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking abilities.
- Adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
- Effective Time Management skills.

Certifications Needed:

IBPYP training or certification is highly desirable.
