Job Description

The key responsibilities are -

- Conduct market research to identify and recommend coal trading products for development on the Coal Exchange platform.
- Coordinate with technology and cross-functional teams to develop and launch exchange products in line with regulatory approvals and specifications.
- Build and manage relationships with coal buyers and sellers to drive adoption of the Coal Exchange platform.
- Plan and execute business development initiatives to increase market awareness and participation in exchange-based coal trading.
- Support customer onboarding, registration, and enable seamless trading experiences for market participants
- Drive growth of the Coal Exchange by demonstrating the value proposition of transparent and efficient exchange-based trading.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and policy requirements by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external authorities

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate will have -





- Atleast 4 to 7 years of experience in the coal ecosystem in India - the candidate should have some experience of working either in coal selling or coal buying in the Indian geography
- Solid coal industry expertise with a deep understanding of coal procurement, trading structures, market dynamics, and stakeholder ecosystems in India.
- Commercially driven and relationship-oriented, capable of building trust with buyers, sellers, and industry participants to drive platform adoption and growth.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to identify market opportunities, conduct research, and translate insights into viable exchange products.
- Strong stakeholder management and execution skills, able to collaborate effectively with technology teams, regulators, and internal functions to deliver complex initiatives.
- Regulatory and policy savvy professional with experience engaging government bodies and ensuring compliance with sector regulations and exchange-related requirements
