Data Scientist

Location: South Delhi, NCR

Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, scope, and prioritize data science opportunities in partnership with the Product Manager and Head of Technology.
- Design, build, and validate statistical and machine learning models against clearly defined business problems.
- Own data quality and pipeline integrity for all data feeding into models.
- Partner with AI/ML Engineers to hand off validated models for production deployment.
- Translate model outputs and analysis into clear, actionable business and product recommendations.
- Document modeling methodology and maintain reproducible research practices.
- As the team scales, help define data science best practices and mentor future hires.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

- Model Development & Accuracy build, validate, and maintain models meeting defined accuracy/performance thresholds.
- Data Pipeline & Quality ensure data used for modeling is clean, reliable, and well documented.
- Business Impact translate data science outputs into measurable business/product impact.
- Collaboration partner with AI/ML Engineers and the PM to productionize models and align with the roadmap.
- Knowledge & Documentation document methodology, maintain reproducibility, and mentor as the team scales.

Required Skills & Technical Competencies

- Strong proficiency in Python or R, SQL,



and standard ML/statistical libraries.
- Solid grounding in statistical modeling, experiment design, and model validation techniques.
- Experience working with structured and unstructured data at a production scale.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.

Targeted Qualifications

- 58 years of experience in data science / applied machine learning.
- Strong proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and statistical modeling techniques.
- Experience productionizing models in partnership with engineering teams.
- Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related field.
- IoT or enterprise data domain experience a plus.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

- Experience with IoT sensor data or time-series analysis.
- Exposure to MLOps practices and production model monitoring.
