Position Purpose and Nature

Responsible for maintaining implementing the EHS FS policies procedures

Responsibilities

- Accountable for the effectiveness of fire safety policies and procedures.
- Accountable for the proper execution of emergency response procedures during fires.
- Accountable for stakeholder engagement regarding fire safety concerns.
- Accountable for maintaining a hygienic and disciplined work environment within the fire safety system.

Authority

- Authority to lead emergency responses and direct firefighting efforts.

OHSW Responsibility

- Align fire safety practices with overall EHS standards.
- Promote and support employee wellbeing initiatives related to fire safety.
- Participate actively in EHS-related audits and assessments.
- Engage in safety discussions specific to fire safety operations.

IMS Responsibilities

- Involve in identifying the hazards-risk including significant hazards and implement controls.
- Involve in aspect-impact register and HIRA register.
- Support to achieve IMS objectives as set by management.
- Participate in training needs and attend trainings as planned.

- Complying with all applicable legal requirements.
- Identify training needs and attend trainings as planned.
- Maintain retain documented information.
- Manage changes in a structured manner.
- Waste management and disposal.
- Determine emergencies and test all emergencies.
- Participate in mock drills.
- Report near misses.
- Participate in incident investigation.
- Take corrective actions on all nonconformities including incidents/accidents if any.
- Undertake continual improvements.

People Management Responsibilities

- Able to lead site team to run the Fire Safety Operations smoothly.
- Staff's discipline and well being.
