Product Scope: Display Racks, Slotted Angle Racks (SAR), Heavy Duty Racks (HDR) & Retail Fit-Outs
Reports To: Sales Head (North/South) / Managing Director
Location: Based in Hyderabad, with extensive regional travel across the assigned zone
Position Overview
The Regional Sales Manager owns revenue and growth for Display Racks, SAR, HDR and Retail Fit-Out solutions across their assigned region (North or South India). The role leads a team of Business Development Managers/Sales Executives, builds and manages the dealer/distributor and key-account network, and works closely with production and design teams to ensure the region's demand is forecast and fulfilled reliably. The Regional Sales Manager is accountable for the region's sales target, team performance and receivables discipline.
Role and Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans for the assigned region across Display Racks, SAR, HDR and Retail Fit-Out solutions, to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and product-mix targets.
Lead, mentor and performance-manage a team of BDMs/Sales Executives set individual territory targets, conduct joint client/site visits, and drive full territory coverage across the region.
Build and expand the dealer/distributor network and identify new market segments within the region (modern trade, supermarket chains, warehousing/e-commerce fulfilment,



institutional accounts).
Own and grow key/strategic accounts large retail chains, contractors and interior fit-out partners including commercial negotiations and long-term rate contracts.
¢ Collaborate with production planning, design and dispatch teams to ensure regional demand is forecast accurately and orders (including in office Display Rack/HDR/SAR/Retail Fit-Out installations) are executed on time.
¢ Monitor competitive activity, pricing and market trends across the region and recommend pricing and positioning strategy.
¢ Own regional receivables enforce collections discipline and keep overdue outstanding within agreed limits.
¢ Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline reviews and performance reports to senior management.
¢ Drive CRM/IVR-based reporting discipline and lead-tracking compliance across the regional sales team.
¢ Build strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders, both internally and externally.
Requirements
¢ Graduate; MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred.
¢ 712 years of B2B sales experience, including at least 23 years in a team-leading or regional sales role preferably in steel racking, retail fixtures, building materials, interiors/shopfitting or industrial capital goods.
¢ Demonstrated track record of achieving regional sales targets and building distributor/dealer networks.
¢ Experience managing and developing a field sales team.
¢ Willingness to be based in Hyderabad with extensive travel across the assigned region.
