Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing and developing scalable backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java 8+, Spring Boot, and Microservices Architecture .

The candidate will be responsible for developing robust backend services, designing REST APIs, integrating distributed systems, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to the overall architecture and technical direction of applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java 8 and above .
- Develop production-ready applications and microservices using Spring Boot .
- Design and implement RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.
- Apply Microservices Architecture principles to build scalable and maintainable services.
- Implement business logic using Java and appropriate design patterns.
- Work with databases and develop efficient queries and data-access components.
- Integrate backend services with third-party applications and external APIs.
- Implement exception handling, logging, validation, and error-handling mechanisms.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding and development best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, architects, and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to application performance optimization and scalability improvements.
- Prepare technical documentation and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.

Required Skills
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java development .
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 8+ .
- Strong experience with Spring Boot .
- Valuable understanding and hands-on experience with Microservices Architecture .




- Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, Multithreading, and Java 8 features .
- Experience developing RESTful web services and APIs .
- Good understanding of distributed systems and service-to-service communication.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git and standard software development practices.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with Spring Framework, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security .
- Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA .
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ .
- Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes .
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP .
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito .
- Understanding of API documentation tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI .
- Knowledge of caching technologies such as Redis.
- Experience working with high-volume and distributed applications.
