Job SummaryThe Deputy Manager – Stamping is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, and supervising stamping shop activities to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets. The role involves leading cross-functional teams, driving process improvements, ensuring tool & machine availability, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality systems.Main ResponsibilitiesAssist in daily production planning and execution.Monitor shift-wise production and downtime.Ensure adherence to quality standards and take quick action on in-process defects.Coordinate tool/die maintenance and machine health checks.Lead root cause analysis for abnormalities and customer complaints.Drive 5S, kaizen, and other lean manufacturing initiatives.Monitor OEE, rejection %, rework %, and take actions to improve.Train and guide operators and line leaders.Support ECN implementation,



new part trials, and documentation.Report daily/weekly production and quality metrics to management.QualificationsEducation: B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production EngineeringExperience: 8 – 12 years in a stamping/press shop workplace, with experience in a supervisory roleSkills:Good knowledge of stamping process, press machine operation, and tool settingUnderstanding of quality tools (5 Why, Pareto, 8D, Poka-Yoke, etc.)Strong leadership and team coordination skillsProficient in MS Office, SAP/ERP (preferred)Knowledge of safety standards and machine guarding practicesRole will be based in Mexico. Incumbent must be willing to relocate.
