Quality Analyst

Remote · Hourly Contract

Compensation: $20–$50/hour
Annual equivalent: approximately $41,600–$104,000 based on 40 hours per week and 52 weeks per year

About the Role

We are seeking detail-oriented Quality Analysts to help ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of work across a range of projects.

You will review completed work against established standards, identify issues, document findings, and provide practical feedback that helps improve quality. The role is well suited to professionals who are comfortable evaluating work objectively, following clear guidelines, and identifying problems that may otherwise be overlooked.

What You'll Do

- Review work against defined quality standards, rubrics, and guidelines.

- Identify errors, inconsistencies, omissions, and quality gaps.

- Document findings clearly and accurately.

- Provide structured and constructive feedback to contributors and stakeholders.

- Monitor quality results and identify recurring issues or trends.

- Help improve quality processes, checklists, and evaluation criteria.

- Collaborate asynchronously with distributed teams across different time zones.

Requirements

- Professional experience in quality assurance, quality control, auditing, reviewing, or another role focused on evaluating work.

- Solid attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle errors or inconsistencies.

- Excellent written communication skills.

- Ability to provide clear, objective, and constructive feedback.

- Comfortable working with ambiguity and adapting as standards and processes evolve.





- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, focused workspace.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with data annotation, content review, evaluation, or similar quality-focused workflows.

- Experience working with distributed or remote teams.

- Professional background in a technical, editorial, analytical, or other relevant field.

Contract Details

- Independent contractor engagement.

- Fully remote.

- Flexible schedule.

- Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance.

- The work will not require access to confidential or proprietary information belonging to an employer, client, or institution.

- Payments are made weekly through Stripe or Wise based on services rendered.

- H-1B and STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported for this opportunity.

Compensation

The rate is $20–$50 per hour.

At 40 hours per week for 52 weeks, this is equivalent to approximately $41,600–$104,000 per year. Actual earnings will depend on hours worked, project duration, and applicable contract terms.
