Medication Verification and Clinical Review

- Screening orders: Check chemotherapy protocols, doses, and lab results (like blood counts and kidney function) before treatment begins.
- Detecting errors: Prevent drug-drug interactions and catch dosing mistakes for high-risk parenteral (injectable) and oral anti-cancer drugs.
- Adjusting doses: Modify treatment plans for organ function or toxicities in consultation with oncologists.

Sterile Compounding and Preparation

- Protected reconstitution: Prepare hazardous anti-cancer drugs in specialized sterile cleanrooms or isolators.
- Managing safety: Protect staff and environment by using strict containment techniques and proper disposal protocols for hazardous waste.
- Quality control: Ensure accurate labeling,



expiration dates, and stability of mixed intravenous infusions.

Patient Care and Education

- Consultation: Explain the treatment schedule, self-care steps, and potential side effects to patients and their families.
- Supportive care: Manage chemotherapy-induced side effects like nausea, pain, and low immunity with targeted medications.
- Adherence tracking: Answer patient questions and monitor compliance between daycare visits.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
