Job Description – Sr. Interior Designer

Position: Sr. Interior Designer

Experience: 5–8+ Years
Qualification: B.Arch / B.Sc. in Design or equivalent

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and creative Sr. Interior Designer with strong expertise in handling end-to-end residential and commercial interior projects. The candidate will be responsible for design development, client coordination, site visits, and ensuring projects are executed as per approved designs and requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end interior design projects from concept to execution.
- Manage residential and commercial interior projects.
- Develop design concepts, layouts, space planning, and detailed drawings.
- Coordinate with clients to understand requirements and provide suitable design solutions.
- Conduct regular site visits and coordinate with site teams, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and review working drawings, furniture layouts, elevations, and other technical drawings.
- Ensure designs are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, timelines, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project execution.
- Identify and resolve design/site-related issues during project execution.




- Maintain project documentation and ensure timely completion of assigned projects.

Software Skills

Candidates should have hands-on experience in:

- AutoCAD
- Sketch-Up
- Revit
- Adobe Photoshop
- MS Office
- Other relevant interior design and visualization software

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial interior design.
- Excellent design, space-planning, and visualization skills.
- Positive understanding of materials, finishes, furniture, and execution.
- Strong client-handling and communication skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects.
- Good coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work within timelines.

Education

B.Arch / B.Sc. in Design / Interior Design or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5–8+ years of relevant experience in interior design.
- Proven experience in handling projects from concept/design stage through site execution and completion.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
