- Sample Collection: Gather blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluid samples from patients.
- Specimen Processing: Label, centrifuge, sort, and store samples correctly to keep them protected and viable.
- Testing and Analysis: Run tests using microscopes, cell counters, and automated analyzers.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean, sterilize, and calibrate lab tools to ensure accuracy.
- Data Recording: Log test results accurately into computer systems and patient files.
- Quality Control: Run standard controls and follow strict safety rules to avoid errors.
- Communication: Share critical or abnormal findings with physicians.
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)
Experience:
- Medical Laboratory: 1 year (Required)
