About the Role

We are looking for a disciplined, experienced and responsible Retired Army/Navy Officer to join our Mumbai corporate office as an Operations Head.

The role will be responsible for maintaining strong operational control, discipline, coordination, reporting and execution across the company's business operations.

The candidate will coordinate with the manufacturing plant, production, logistics, warehouse, dispatch, vendors, distributors and internal teams to ensure that management instructions are implemented properly and operations run smoothly.

The ideal candidate should bring robust leadership, administration, manpower management, logistics, discipline and crisis-management skills.

This is a direct company employment with a fixed salary. It is not a security-guard or security-agency position.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

- Oversee and coordinate day-to-day operational activities from the Mumbai office.
- Coordinate with the manufacturing plant and other operational locations.
- Ensure management instructions are properly communicated and implemented.
- Monitor operational activities, pending tasks and critical issues.
- Establish strong systems for accountability, follow-up and reporting.
- Identify operational problems and ensure timely resolution.

Plant & Manufacturing Coordination

- Maintain regular coordination with the manufacturing plant.
- Monitor production status, material requirements, dispatches and operational issues.
- Follow up with plant management on pending requirements and action points.
- Escalate important delays, risks or operational issues to senior management.




- Ensure smooth communication between the Mumbai office and plant.

Logistics, Warehouse & Dispatch

- Coordinate with logistics teams, transporters, warehouses and distributors.
- Monitor movement of raw materials, packaging materials and finished goods.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of dispatches.
- Monitor stock movement and operational discrepancies.
- Support management in improving logistics and inventory controls.

Manpower & Discipline

- Monitor operational teams and ensure proper discipline and accountability.
- Ensure employees and supervisors follow company policies and SOPs.
- Monitor manpower deployment and operational responsibilities.
- Handle operational and manpower-related issues when required.
- Establish clear reporting structures and follow-up systems.

Security & Control

- Coordinate with plant and security teams regarding operational security.
- Monitor movement and control of materials, vehicles and finished goods.
- Ensure proper access and control procedures are followed.
- Support management during operational emergencies or critical situations.

MIS & Reporting

- Review daily and weekly operational reports.
- Monitor production, inventory, dispatch, logistics, manpower and operational status.
- Prepare or consolidate MIS reports for management.
- Maintain action-point trackers and ensure timely closure.
- Escalate critical matters to senior management.





Candidate Requirements

- Retired Army / Navy Officer preferred.
- Retired Commissioned Officer / JCO / Senior NCO with strong leadership experience.
- Experience in administration, operations, logistics or large-team management.
- Strong discipline, integrity and accountability.
- Good understanding of operations, logistics, manpower and process control.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good problem-solving and crisis-management ability.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel, email and MIS reporting.
- Experience in manufacturing, distillery, bottling, logistics, warehouse or FMCG/Alcobev operations will be an advantage.
- Willing to travel to the manufacturing plant or other locations when required.
