Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Business Unit Head – Business to Government (B2G) to lead the operational and business performance of our government-focused business unit.

The role will be responsible for managing multi-location operations, strengthening relationships with government and institutional stakeholders, improving operational efficiency, supporting business growth, and leading a large geographically distributed team.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee day-to-day operations of the B2G Business Unit across multiple locations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with government departments, local authorities, institutional clients, and other stakeholders.
- Support business development, market expansion, and delivery of government and institutional projects.
- Lead and coordinate a large, geographically distributed team across Kerala and neighboring states.
- Monitor operational KPIs, productivity, service quality, revenue, and profitability.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, cost efficiency, and service delivery.
- Work closely with Finance, HR, Business Development,



and other functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Establish effective systems, processes, reporting mechanisms, and performance standards.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory, contractual, safety, and organizational requirements.
- Mentor team members and support capability development and succession planning.
- Lead regular business and operational reviews and implement corrective actions where required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Management, Operations, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of relevant experience in business operations, project management, B2G operations, institutional business, or a related field.
- Experience managing large teams and multi-location operations.
- Experience working with government departments, local authorities, public-sector organizations, or institutional clients.
- Strong understanding of business operations, financial performance, and process management.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and team-management skills.
- Fluency in Malayalam and working proficiency in English.
- Willingness to travel across Kerala and neighboring states as required.
- Experience in waste management, environmental services, infrastructure, facility management, or related sectors will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹95,000.00 per month
