Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and responsible HR Manager to manage the complete HR function for our jewellery business, including showroom, sales, operations, manufacturing, and support teams.

The HR Manager will be responsible for recruitment, employee relations, attendance, payroll coordination, performance management, training, employee engagement, HR policies, and statutory compliance. The role requires a solid understanding of retail and jewellery-industry requirements, along with a high level of confidentiality, discipline, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end recruitment for showroom sales staff, managers, jewellery artisans, production staff, accounts, administration, and support functions.
- Prepare job descriptions and coordinate interviews, selection, reference checks, and joining formalities.
- Manage employee onboarding, induction, documentation, and training.
- Maintain accurate employee records, attendance, leave, and personnel files.
- Coordinate monthly payroll, incentives, commissions, overtime, and other employee payments with the accounts team.
- Develop and manage performance appraisal systems for sales and non-sales employees.
- Establish and monitor sales targets, incentive structures, and employee performance metrics in coordination with management.
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, conflicts, absenteeism, and staff retention.
- Ensure proper staff discipline, punctuality, grooming, uniform, and professional customer-facing behaviour.
- Plan manpower requirements for jewellery showrooms, exhibitions, events, and seasonal sales periods.
- Coordinate employee training on customer service, product knowledge, sales skills, workplace behaviour, and company policies.
- Ensure employees understand and follow company policies related to jewellery handling, stock security, confidentiality, customer information, and showroom discipline.




- Coordinate with management and security teams regarding employee access, movement, and compliance with internal security procedures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Conduct employee engagement activities and develop initiatives to improve employee satisfaction and retention.
- Prepare HR reports covering manpower, attendance, attrition, recruitment, performance, and employee costs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee, customer, business, and financial information.
- Support management in developing HR policies, organizational structure, manpower planning, and succession planning.
- Handle exit formalities, full-and-final coordination, exit interviews, and employee clearance.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR will be an advantage.
- 5–10 years of HR experience, preferably in jewellery, retail, luxury retail, or a similar customer-facing industry.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment, payroll coordination, employee relations, performance management, and labour compliance.
- Experience managing sales teams and incentive-based employees is preferred.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and HRMS/attendance systems.
- Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Preferred Industry Experience

Experience in jewellery retail, gold and diamond showrooms, luxury retail, jewellery manufacturing, or multi-location retail operations will be preferred.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
