Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Economics to senior secondary students (Classes XI–XII).
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.
- Explain concepts such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, national income, money and banking, and Indian economic development.
- Conduct examinations, evaluate answer sheets, and maintain student records.
- Monitor students’ academic progress and provide guidance and remedial support.
- Use appropriate teaching methods, technology, and real-world economic examples.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, school activities, and academic planning.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote a positive learning environment.
- Stay updated with the CBSE curriculum, examination patterns, and developments in Economics.

Educational Qualification

Essential:

- Master's Degree (M.A./M.Sc./M.Com.) in Economics / Applied Economics / related discipline from a recognized university.
- B.Ed.



from a recognized institution/university.
- Candidates should meet the eligibility requirements prescribed by the relevant CBSE/State Board and applicable education authorities.

Experience

- Essential: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience as a PGT Economics at a reputed CBSE/ICSE/State Board school.
- Experience of teaching Classes XI–XII and preparing students for Board examinations will be preferred.
- Candidates with demonstrated experience in achieving strong academic outcomes and developing teaching resources may be given preference.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and communication skills may also be considered, depending on the school's requirements.
