Role Overview

We are looking for an Accountant who can also take ownership of day-to-day e-commerce operations for our D2C brands.

The role will include bookkeeping and accounts, order and payment reconciliation, Shopify operations, customer support, returns/refunds, and coordination with our dispatch and operations teams.

We are looking for someone who is organized, comfortable with numbers, and willing to take responsibility for the complete backend operations of the business.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping, expenses, purchases, sales, and bank entries.
- Manage accounts using Zoho Books or similar accounting software.
- Reconcile Shopify sales, payment gateways, COD settlements, bank receipts, and courier charges.
- Assist with GST-related data, invoices, vendor bills, and monthly account reconciliation.
- Manage orders across our Shopify websites and monitor pending or delayed orders.
- Handle cancellations, returns, exchanges, refunds, and customer queries.
- Respond to customers through WhatsApp, email, Instagram, and other support channels.
- Maintain product listings, inventory, pricing,



and basic Shopify backend updates.
- Coordinate with dispatch, production, courier partners, and other internal teams.
- Maintain operational and accounting reports using Excel/Google Sheets.
- Follow up on outstanding payments, refunds, vendor bills, and discrepancies.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or e-commerce operations.
- Good understanding of basic accounting, reconciliation, invoices, expenses, and GST.
- Comfortable using Excel or Google Sheets.
- Experience with Zoho Books.
- Positive written communication skills for customer support.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
- Should be responsible, organized, and comfortable working independently.

Good to Have

- Experience with Shopify or other e-commerce platforms.
- Experience reconciling payment gateways, COD settlements, and courier accounts.
- Previous experience with a D2C or e-commerce company.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
