Job Description:

Techno Functional Consultant – General Insurance

Role Purpose: Provide General Insurance/P&C; domain and technology expertise for presales engagements and act as the primary solutioning resource for General Insurance opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze General Insurance business requirements from RFP/RFI and customer processes on Core System and front end solutions
- Knowledge on Middle Office engine with Rules and Workflows
- Technical knowledge on Java, Springboot, RDBMS Databases, Cloud services, API
- Participate in discovery workshops and requirement discussions.
- Provide expertise across Motor, Non-Motor, Property, Marine, Travel, Health, Commercial Lines, Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims, Renewals, Endorsements, Commissions, Reinsurance, Payments and Finance.
- Map requirements to product capabilities and define standard/configurable/custom solutions.
- Good understanding and knowledge on the technical and architecture of the solution
- Conduct product demonstrations and prepare business scenarios.
- Co-ordinate with Sales,



product tech team and infra team
- Ability to prepare the implementation plan for Water fall, Agile and Hybrid
- Support RFP/RFI responses, PoCs and gap analysis.
- Define integration requirements with external systems and digital channels.
- Work with BAs on functional documentation.
- Coordinate with Product, Architecture, Engineering and Delivery.
- Support estimation and implementation planning.

Experience & Qualifications

- 7–12 years of General Insurance/P&C; experience.
- Robust knowledge of Policy Administration, Underwriting, Claims and Billing.
- Experience with insurance software platforms.
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, digital platforms and enterprise architecture.
- Presales/consulting experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
