Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Career Counselor to guide prospective students in selecting the right professional courses based on their educational background, interests, skills, and career goals.

The candidate will primarily handle incoming enquiries and leads, understand each student's requirements, explain suitable courses, provide complete course information.

This role does not involve fixed sales targets; however, the counselor is expected to maintain professional and consistent follow-up with prospective students and provide a positive counseling experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Attend and respond to incoming student enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, website enquiries, walk-ins, and other lead sources.
- Understand the student's educational background, career interests, requirements, and goals before recommending suitable courses.
- Provide detailed information about:
- Course curriculum and modules
- Course duration
- Online and offline learning options
- Certification
- Placement support
- Batch schedules and class timings
- Counsel students and help them identify the most suitable course based on their career objectives.
- Conduct telephonic, WhatsApp, and face-to-face counseling for prospective students.
- Follow up regularly with interested prospects and address their queries until they make an admission decision.
- Coordinate with the admissions and academic teams for smooth student onboarding.
- Maintain accurate records of all enquiries, conversations, follow-ups, and admission status.
- Update CRM, lead management software, or lead tracking sheets on a daily basis.
- Schedule follow-up calls and ensure that interested students receive timely information.




- Handle walk-in enquiries professionally and provide course counseling at the centre.
- Share brochures, course details, fee structures, batch information, and other required materials with prospects.
- Maintain proper documentation related to student enquiries and admissions.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly enquiry and follow-up reports to the management.
- Build positive relationships with prospective students and maintain professional communication throughout the counseling process.
- Collect feedback from prospects regarding their course requirements and admission decisions.
- Coordinate with trainers or relevant departments when students require additional course-related clarification.
- Stay updated about all courses, upcoming batches, workshops, offers, and placement-related information.

Educational Qualification

- MBA Graduate preferred.
- Candidates with a Bachelor's degree and relevant counseling/admissions experience may also be considered

Experience

Minimum 1+ year of relevant experience in:

- Career Counseling
- Admission Counseling
- Educational Counseling
- Student Counseling
- Training Institute / EdTech Admissions

Experience in a training institute, education company, EdTech organization, or professional course provider will be an added advantage.

Compensation

Salary: Up to ₹4 LPA
Additional Benefits: Performance-based incentives

Ideal Candidate

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
