JOB OPENING – ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (MULTIMEDIA & ANIMATION)

Programme: B.Sc. Multimedia & Animation
Position: Assistant Professor
Employment Type: Full-Time
Joining: Immediate

Educational Qualification

- Master’s Degree in Multimedia & Animation or a relevant/allied discipline.
- Eligibility as per I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) norms and applicable UGC/AICTE guidelines.
- Freshers are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with relevant teaching/industry experience will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver lectures and practical sessions for B.Sc. Multimedia & Animation students.
- Teach subjects related to 2D/3D Animation, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Video Editing, Visual Effects, Digital Media, and related areas.
- Guide students in academic projects, assignments and practical work.
- Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments and assessments.




- Mentor students and support their academic and creative development.
- Participate in departmental activities, workshops, seminars and other institutional responsibilities.
- Maintain academic records and perform other duties assigned by the department/management.

Desired Skills

- Valuable communication and presentation skills.
- Strong knowledge of multimedia and animation concepts.
- Practical knowledge of relevant software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Autodesk Maya, Blender, 3ds Max, etc., will be an added advantage.
- Passion for teaching, creativity and student mentoring.
