Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Metal QC professional to inspect raw materials, components and finished products to ensure compliance with required quality standards, specifications and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming raw materials, metal components and finished products.

Check dimensions, thickness, weight, surface finish, colour and overall quality.

Identify defects such as scratches, dents, cracks, discoloration, porosity and improper finishing.

Conduct inspections as per defined specifications and quality standards.

Use vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges, weighing scales and other inspection tools.

Maintain inspection, rejection reports, checklists and quality documentation.

Coordinate with Production and relevant teams to resolve quality issues.

Monitor production processes and ensure adherence to quality procedures.

Conduct random and final inspections before dispatch.

Segregate and document rejected/non-conforming materials.





Support root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of metal quality inspection and manufacturing processes.

Understanding of different metals, alloys and their properties.

Ability to identify surface and dimensional defects.

Hands-on experience with measuring and inspection tools.

Valuable attention to detail, analytical and coordination skills.

Basic knowledge of quality standards and documentation.

Ability to work independently and with production teams.

Qualification:

Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production or related field.

Preferred Experience:

Experience in Metal QC, Quality Inspection, Manufacturing QC, Jewellery, Metal Manufacturing, Fabrication, Casting, Sheet Metal, Engineering or Precision Components will be preferred.
