FlooringMart.com is a fast-growing e-commerce platform based in California, USA, focused on becoming one of the largest online marketplaces for flooring products, including SPC, hardwood, laminate, tile, carpet, and related materials.

We are building a scalable Magento-based platform with advanced catalog systems, digital tools, and marketing integration.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead to drive development and architecture of our Magento-based ecommerce platform. You will lead a team, make technical decisions, and build scalable headless commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Magento / Adobe Commerce Technical Ownership

- Take overall technical ownership of the Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce website.
- Lead Magento architecture, development, configuration, customization, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain Magento 2 modules, extensions, themes, APIs, and custom functionality.
- Manage Magento backend, database, caching, indexing, cron jobs, deployments, and server-related coordination.
- Identify and resolve critical website, checkout, catalog, pricing, and performance issues.
- Ensure Magento best practices are followed across development and maintenance activities.

E-commerce Platform Management

- Support end-to-end e-commerce workflows covering product creation, catalog, pricing, inventory, cart, checkout, payment, orders, and customer experience.
- Work with catalog and e-commerce teams on product attributes, categories, configurable products, pricing, promotions, and merchandising logic.
- Support complex product/catalog structures and bulk product updates.
- Ensure frontend and backend functionality accurately reflects business requirements.

Integrations

- Lead technical integrations with ERP, PIM, payment gateways, shipping/logistics platforms, CRM, marketing platforms, analytics tools, search/merchandising platforms, and external APIs.
- Review API requirements, integration architecture, data flow, and error handling.
- Troubleshoot integration failures and data synchronization issues.

Development & Team Leadership

- Lead and coordinate Magento developers and external development teams.
- Review technical requirements, development estimates, implementation approaches, and code quality.
- Conduct code reviews and establish development standards.
- Convert business requirements into clear technical tasks.
- Coordinate development,



testing, UAT, deployment, and post-release support.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers.

Website Performance & Security

- Monitor and improve Magento website performance, Core Web Vitals, page speed, database performance, caching, and server response time.
- Identify technical bottlenecks and implement performance improvements.
- Ensure Magento security patches and updates are properly implemented.
- Follow secure coding and deployment practices.
- Proactively monitor website stability and potential technical issues.

QA, UAT & Production Support

- Work closely with QA and business teams for functional testing and UAT.
- Analyze bugs and identify root causes rather than relying only on temporary fixes.
- Ensure fixes are properly tested before production deployment.
- Support production incidents and prioritize issues based on business impact.
- Maintain documentation for recurring issues, fixes, integrations, and technical processes.

SEO & Frontend Collaboration

- Apply Magento SEO fundamentals including URLs, metadata, canonical tags, redirects, structured data, sitemaps, indexing, and crawlability.
- Collaborate with UI/UX and frontend teams to convert designs into functional Magento pages.
- Ensure responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing frontend implementation.
- Support landing pages, CMS pages, promotional components, and merchandising features.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3–6 years of relevant professional experience in Magento / Adobe Commerce development.
- Robust hands-on experience with Magento 2 / Adobe Commerce.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms and business workflows.
- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Robust knowledge of Magento 2 architecture and module development.
- Experience with Magento REST / GraphQL APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience with Git and version control.
- Understanding of Linux/server fundamentals.
- Knowledge of database and performance optimization.




- Strong debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
- Experience with Magento deployment and production environments.
- Strong understanding of catalog, pricing, promotions, checkout, orders, customers, and inventory.

Good to Have

- Adobe Commerce Cloud experience.
- PWA / Headless Commerce experience.
- Elasticsearch / OpenSearch.
- Redis / Varnish.
- Docker, AWS, or other cloud environments.
- CI/CD pipelines.
- ERP / PIM integrations.
- Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager.
- SEO and Core Web Vitals experience.
- Experience managing large product catalogs.
- Experience working with B2C or B2B e-commerce platforms.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should be able to:

Strong problem-solving, ownership, communication, leadership, and stakeholder-management skills are essential, particularly when working with non-technical e-commerce and business teams.

Salary: ₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
