Lakhotia College of Design is looking for a passionate and industry-oriented Fashion Design Faculty to teach and mentor students across various areas of Fashion Design.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach core Fashion Design subjects across different levels.
- Handle subjects such as Fashion Illustration, Design Development, Garment Construction, Pattern Making, Draping, Textiles, Fashion Styling and related areas.
- Teach Digital Fashion Illustration using relevant industry software.
- Teach Digital Pattern Making (Digital PM) and industry-standard digital tools.
- Prepare lesson plans, practical assignments and projects.
- Conduct practical sessions, critiques, assessments and portfolio reviews.
- Mentor students on design development,
creativity and industry practices.
- Guide students in creating strong portfolios and final projects.
- Keep curriculum and teaching methods aligned with current fashion industry trends.
Requirements
- Degree / Diploma / Master's in Fashion Design or related field.
- Strong practical knowledge of Fashion Design.
- Proficiency in Digital Illustration and Digital Pattern Making is preferred.
- Positive communication and presentation skills.
- Industry experience will be an advantage.
- Passion for teaching, mentoring and working with young designers.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
