Purpose of the Role

The SEO/AEO/GEO and SMO Specialist will improve the company’s visibility across search engines, AI-powered platforms and social-media. The role will focus on attracting relevant audiences, increasing organic traffic, strengthening brand authority and generating qualified business enquiries through content, website optimization and performance analysis.

Job Responsibilities

· Plan and implement SEO, AEO, GEO and SMO strategies aligned with business objectives.

· Content Strategy, implementation of Google Ads is mandatory.

· Working knowledge of WordPress, Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

· Conduct keyword research, search-intent analysis, and competitor research and content-gap analysis.

· Pass experience in industrial capital goods and products.

· Create and optimize website pages, blogs, articles, FAQs, landing pages and social-media content.

· Plan, execute and monitor digital-marketing activities covering keyword research, SEO audits, on-page, off-page and technical SEO, link building, SMO, Google Ads/PPC, Search Console, Google Analytics, website performance, competitor analysis, conversion optimization and periodic performance reporting.

· Ability to create clear, original and audience-focused content.

· Basic knowledge of website backend management, HTML, schema and technical SEO will be preferred.

· Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and connect digital-marketing activities with measurable business results.

· Optimize content for Google Search, Featured Snippets,



AI Overviews and platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.

· Perform on-page and basic technical SEO, including titles, Meta descriptions, headings, internal links, schema, indexing and website-speed checks.

· Manage and update website content through WordPress or the applicable content-management system.

· Plan and publish regular content across LinkedIn, YouTube and other approved social-media platforms.

· Create or coordinate AI graphics, video edit, video generations, product content and promotional posts.

· Monitor website traffic, keyword rankings, conversions, engagement and lead generation.

· Analyse performance, identify improvement opportunities and implement approved corrective actions.

· Prepare periodic reports covering completed activities, results, challenges and recommended next steps.

· Coordinate with internal teams to ensure content accuracy, consistency and commercial relevance.

Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business or a related discipline.

· Two to five years of relevant experience in SEO, digital marketing, content marketing or social-media optimization.

· Sound knowledge of SEO, AEO, GEO, SMO, keyword research, search intent and content optimization.

· Familiarity with tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Keyword Planner, ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity.

Pay: ₹24,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
