About the Role

Aharada Education, in collaboration with IIMT University, Meerut, is looking for a passionate and qualified Assistant Professor – Aviation & Travel to join the academic team.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of the aviation, travel, and tourism sectors, along with excellent communication and teaching skills. The faculty member will be responsible for delivering quality classroom teaching, conducting practical and industry-oriented learning activities, mentoring students, and supporting academic and departmental initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver engaging lectures and practical sessions in Aviation, Travel, and Tourism.
- Teach subjects related to Aviation Management, Airport Operations, Airline Management, Travel Management, Tourism Management, Aviation Safety & Security, Air Cargo, Ground Handling, Tour Operations, and related areas.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, assignments, question papers, course materials, and other academic resources.
- Conduct practical activities, case studies, simulations, workshops, field visits, and industry-oriented learning sessions.
- Guide students in academic projects, internships, presentations, competitions, and research activities.
- Provide students with practical exposure to airlines, airports, travel agencies, tour operators, hospitality organizations, and tourism businesses.
- Incorporate current aviation and travel industry trends, case studies, regulations, and real-world examples into teaching.




- Mentor students regarding academics, internships, career opportunities, and professional development.
- Organize and support seminars, workshops, guest lectures, industrial visits, educational tours, and industry interaction programs.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with airlines, airports, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, tourism organizations, and other industry stakeholders.
- Maintain attendance, assessment records, student performance reports, and other academic documentation.
- Participate in curriculum development and academic quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to research, publications, consultancy, and other academic activities.
- Support departmental events, admission activities, student engagement initiatives, and other institutional responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications

- Master's degree in Aviation Management, Airport Management, Airline Management, Travel & Tourism, Tourism Management, Hospitality Management, or a closely related discipline.
- Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, or a relevant discipline.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. will be preferred.
- Strong understanding of the aviation and travel industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.




- Ability to deliver both theoretical and practical, industry-oriented education.
- Freshers and candidates with relevant academic or industry experience may apply.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Airport Operations, Airline Operations, Ground Handling, Passenger Handling, Aviation Safety & Security, Air Cargo, Travel Agency Operations, Tour Operations, Destination Management, and Tourism Management.
- Prior experience with airlines, airports, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, tourism organizations, or aviation companies will be an advantage.
- Experience in organizing educational tours, industry visits, workshops, seminars, and live projects.
- Strong student mentoring and career guidance skills.
- Research, publications, or industry certifications will be an added advantage.
- Awareness of current developments and emerging trends in the aviation and travel industry.
