About the Role

We are looking for a Software Development & Technical Recruitment Intern to work across technology and talent acquisition functions.

The intern will get hands-on experience working on websites, internal tools, software solutions, AI-enabled applications, and workflow automations, while also supporting the recruitment of developers and other technical professionals.

This role is suited for someone who enjoys building things, solving problems, experimenting with new technologies, and exploring how AI can be used to improve software and business processes, while also having an interest in understanding and evaluating technical talent.

Key Responsibilities

Software Development, AI & Automation

- Assist in developing and maintaining websites, web applications, internal tools, and software solutions.
- Build and improve workflow automations for internal business and recruitment processes.
- Explore and implement AI-powered features and workflows where they can improve existing processes or applications.
- Work with LLM APIs and AI tools to develop practical applications and automation workflows.
- Assist with integrating APIs, AI services, and third-party tools into internal applications and workflows.
- Develop scripts and lightweight applications using Python, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Troubleshoot, test, and improve existing applications, automations, and integrations.
- Work with team members to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Research and experiment with new software, AI, automation, and development tools.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Document development work, technical processes, integrations, and automation workflows.

Technical Recruitment





- Assist with sourcing candidates for software development and other technical roles.
- Screen resumes and identify candidates based on role requirements.
- Conduct initial candidate screening and coordinate interviews.
- Assist in evaluating candidates' technical skills, projects, experience, and familiarity with relevant technologies.
- Coordinate technical assessments and interviews with relevant team members.
- Maintain candidate records and recruitment trackers.
- Support outreach through job portals, professional networks, referrals, and other channels.
- Help build and maintain a pipeline of technical candidates.

Additional Responsibilities

- Work closely with both the technology and HR/recruitment teams.
- Assist with improving internal recruitment and HR processes through software, AI, and automation.
- Contribute to projects that combine technology and recruitment.
- Take on other development, automation, or recruitment-related projects based on organizational requirements.

Requirements

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of programming and software development concepts.
- Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or similar.
- Interest in software development, AI, automation, APIs, and emerging technologies.
- Basic understanding of how APIs and third-party integrations work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.




- Willingness to learn and work across both technical and recruitment-related responsibilities.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good to Have

- Experience with web development or building personal/academic projects.
- Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, or AI APIs.
- Experience using AI coding or development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or similar.
- Familiarity with tools such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar automation platforms.
- Experience working with APIs, webhooks, or third-party integrations.
- Basic knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
- Basic understanding of prompt engineering or building AI-powered workflows.
- Experience with an ATS, recruitment platform, or job portals.
- Previous experience sourcing or screening candidates.
- A portfolio, GitHub profile, or examples of technical projects.
