Regional Sales Manager – Pharma / OTC (Punjab)

Sri Ayunath Ayurvedic Research Lab is an Ayurvedic pharmaceutical manufacturing company based in Amritsar, Punjab. We are hiring an experienced Regional Sales Manager to develop and expand our sales and distribution network across Punjab.

This is a field-based, new market development role involving extensive travel across Punjab. The selected candidate will take responsibility for developing territories, appointing distributors/stockists, generating business and gradually building the company's Punjab sales network.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop Pharma/OTC sales across major Punjab markets.
- Identify, approach and appoint distributors, stockists and channel partners.
- Develop new territories and establish a sustainable distribution network.
- Generate primary sales and develop repeat business.
- Independently plan territory coverage and regular market visits.
- Build and maintain strong distributor and trade relationships.
- Ensure timely payment follow-up and realization/recovery.
- Monitor competition, market opportunities and distributor feedback.
- Prepare territory-wise sales plans and growth strategies.
- Recruit and manage field-sales personnel as the business expands.

Candidate Requirements

- Minimum 5 years of relevant Pharma / OTC / Ayurvedic field-sales experience.
- Proven experience handling pharmaceutical/OTC sales in Punjab.
- Strong knowledge of Punjab's distributor/stockist market.
- Proven experience in new territory development and distributor/stockist appointment.




- Existing professional relationships with Pharma/OTC distributors and stockists across Punjab will be strongly preferred.
- Ability to independently identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Must be comfortable with extensive field travel throughout Punjab.
- Experience with OTC, Ayurvedic, cough & cold or similar high-volume healthcare products will be preferred.
- Experience building or managing a field-sales team will be an advantage.

Compensation

₹40,000–₹50,000 per month fixed salary, depending on relevant experience, market knowledge and demonstrated capability.

Additional performance incentives based on payment realization/recovery and business performance.

This position offers the opportunity to take significant ownership of Punjab market development and play a key role in building and expanding the company's sales organization.

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
