About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive SIEM Specialist to design, implement, and manage Security Information & Event Management (SIEM) solutions to strengthen our clients’ security monitoring and incident response capabilities.

You will work as Lead of SOC, Threat Detection, and Incident Response teams to ensure continuous monitoring, log analysis, threat detection, and rapid response to security incidents.

This is a hands-on technical role ideal for professionals passionate about SOC operations, log analytics, and real-world cyber defense

Key Responsibilities

SIEM Implementation & Management

- Deploy, configure, and manage SIEM platforms (Wazuh, Splunk, QRadar, ELK, Sentinel, etc.)
- Integrate log sources (servers, firewalls, endpoints, cloud, applications, network devices)
- Develop and maintain parsing rules, normalization, and log ingestion pipelines
- Optimize SIEM performance and reduce false positives

Monitoring & Detection

- Develop and fine-tune use cases, correlation rules, alerts, and dashboards
- Perform continuous monitoring of security events and logs
- Detect suspicious activities, anomalies, and potential threats
- Conduct threat hunting and behavioral analysis

Incident Response

- Investigate alerts and security incidents
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend remediation
- Support containment, eradication, and recovery activities
- Prepare incident reports and documentation

Compliance & Reporting

- Create compliance dashboards (ISO 27001, SOC2, SAMA, NCA, etc.)
- Generate periodic security reports for clients/stakeholders
- Support audit and governance requirements

Continuous Improvement

- Automate processes using scripts/playbooks
- Improve detection coverage and SOC maturity




- Stay updated with emerging threats and SIEM technologies

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security / IT / Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with SIEM/SOC operations
- Strong experience with at least one SIEM (Wazuh/Splunk/QRadar/ELK/Sentinel)
- Knowledge of log analysis and threat detection techniques
- Understanding of TCP/IP, networking, firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR
- Experience with Linux/Windows system logs
- Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK; framework
- Basic scripting (Python/Bash/PowerShell)
- Robust analytical and troubleshooting skills

Requirements:

- 5 - 10 years of experience working in a SIEM Implementation along with leading Security Operations Center (SOC)
- Hands-on expertise with
- Strong experience with at least one SIEM (Wazuh/Splunk/QRadar/ELK/Sentinel)
- Good understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and common attack vectors
- Familiarity with SIEMs, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions
- Certifications: CEH, CHFI, Security+, Splunk/Wazuh certifications, GCIA, or similar
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
