About the Role
We are looking for a Creative Manager to join our team and work closely with the evolving Maarrs product
portfolio.
This is not a conventional Creative Manager role.
The role combines hands-on creative production, design execution, video creation, team formation and
leadership, and UI/UX quality oversight, and will require the individual to work across different creative
aspects of the product and business.
As an early-stage startup, we believe that roles cannot always be restricted to a fixed job description.
Everyone is expected to contribute wherever required, take ownership and help build the organisation and
product.
Most importantly, we are not looking for someone who already knows everything.
Creative tools, production techniques, product knowledge and current AI-enabled creative capabilities can all be
learned and developed over time. What is much harder to teach is attitude, ownership, work ethic, curiosity,
adaptability and willingness to learn and contribute.
That is what we value most.
What We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who:
Has a strong work ethic and takes ownership of commitments.
Has a genuine willingness to work and contribute, rather than waiting to be told what to do.
Is curious and has a willingness to explore, question and understand.
Is willing to learn new creative skills, tools and ways of working.
Can operate comfortably in an environment where things are still being built and refined.
Is flexible and adaptable when priorities or responsibilities change.
Can work across creative functions rather than being restricted by a narrow job description.
Is comfortable taking responsibility for something and following it through to completion.
Can think beyond the immediate creative task and understand where the product and brand are heading in the
future.
Wants to build their own capabilities and career alongside the growth of the product and organisation.
Has good professional ethics, reliability and discipline.
Can work independently while also collaborating effectively with others.
Brings structure and clarity even when the situation itself is not completely structured.
The role will broadly operate across creative production, design, video and creative team management:
Work closely with the CEO on creative execution and production priorities.
Build, develop and lead the creative team across design and video functions, with hands-on creative
production remaining a core responsibility.
Oversee the UI/UX and front-end design department — reviewing and ensuring quality of output, not hands-on
execution.
Drive creative marketing ideas and campaign concepts.
Create and execute end-to-end video production, including 2D animation, 3D animation, motion graphics,
AI-generated video and video editing, while also overseeing the quality and delivery of video outputs.
Design and oversee brand assets including logos, posters, full branding kits, letterheads and marketing
collateral.
Manage design and video workflows from brief to final delivery across multiple concurrent projects.
Maintain production quality and ensure creative outputs are delivered to the required standard and within
agreed timelines.
Coordinate creative priorities across multiple projects and ensure that agreed actions are followed through to
completion.
Provide creative direction and quality review while remaining hands-on where production execution is required.
Creative Skills & Experience
The following would be advantageous, with strong practical proficiency expected for the core production tools:
Adobe Premiere Pro.
Adobe After Effects.
Adobe Photoshop.
Adobe Illustrator.
DaVinci Resolve (color grading).
Canva (professional-level use).
Figma (UI/UX design).
2D animation and motion graphics.
3D animation.
AI video generation tools.
Video editing and post-production.
Brand identity design, including logos, letterheads and full branding systems.
Poster and marketing collateral design.
UI/UX oversight and quality review of application design and front-end output.
Creative team leadership and creative workflow management.
Added advantage (not mandatory):
Pre-production experience, including script writing.
Cinematography knowledge — camera positioning, shot composition, and the ability to advise across
production departments.
A strong portfolio demonstrating expert-level execution across design AND video disciplines simultaneously is
important. Proven experience leading a creative team, working directly with executive leadership, and
independently managing multiple creative workflows end-to-end would be advantageous.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
