Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Nursing Instructor to train and mentor nursing students/staff. The candidate will be responsible for providing theoretical and practical training, developing clinical skills, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards and hospital protocols.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct theory and practical nursing classes.
- Provide hands-on training in clinical procedures and patient care.
- Demonstrate nursing procedures and ensure proper return demonstrations.
- Train nurses on hospital policies, SOPs, infection control, patient safety, and clinical protocols.
- Coordinate and supervise clinical postings for nursing students/staff.
- Assess the knowledge, skills, and performance of trainees.
- Conduct skill assessments, tests, and competency evaluations.
- Prepare training materials, presentations, lesson plans, and assessment records.
- Maintain attendance, training, and competency documentation.




- Identify training gaps and provide appropriate guidance and feedback.
- Support orientation and induction programs for newly joined nursing staff.
- Coordinate with Nursing Administration and clinical departments for training requirements.
- Ensure all training activities comply with applicable nursing and healthcare standards.

Qualification

- B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
- Valid nursing registration.
- Additional certification in Nursing Education / Training will be an added advantage.
