Opening For Technical Manager (Diagnostic work Experience Must)

Qualification: Ph.D(Biochemistry)

Experience: 12 to 15

Salary: 45k to 75k

Location: Chennai

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Supervise day-to-day technical operations of the laboratory.
- Support implementation of recent tests and automation platforms.
- Prepare regular technical and quality reports for laboratory management.
- Monitor laboratory KPIs and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze trends in QC, TAT, sample rejection, equipment performance, and technical errors.
- Recommend corrective actions and process improvements to the Lab Director.
- Ensure laboratory procedures are performed according to approved SOPs and validated methods.
- Monitor test accuracy, precision, reliability, and turnaround time.
- Ensure proper handling, processing, storage, and disposal of clinical specimens.
- Review and resolve technical issues, sample discrepancies, and testing errors.
- Coordinate with different laboratory sections to ensure smooth workflow.
- Implement and maintain the laboratory Quality Management System.
- Monitor Internal Quality Control (IQC) and External Quality Assessment/Proficiency Testing (EQA/PT).
- Supervise installation, qualification, calibration, validation, and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Monitor equipment performance and downtime.
- Coordinate preventive maintenance and breakdown services.




- Ensure calibration and maintenance records are complete and current.
- Assist in evaluation and selection of new instruments and technologies.
- Participate in method comparison and instrument correlation studies.
- Investigate QC failures, non-conformities, deviations, and unacceptable EQA results.
- Initiate and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Monitor quality indicators such as:
- Sample rejection rate
- Turnaround time
- QC performance
- Repeat testing
- Critical-value reporting
- Customer complaints
- Participate in internal audits and management review activities.
- Support implementation and maintenance of ISO 15189/NABL requirements, as applicable.
- Ensure technical records, SOPs, worksheets, logs, and quality documentation are maintained.
- Coordinate preparation for NABL assessments and surveillance assessments.
- Ensure implementation of findings arising from audits and assessments.
- Maintain staff competency and authorization records.
- Coordinate verification/validation of new tests and methodologies.
- Review precision, accuracy, analytical measurement range, reference intervals, and method-comparison studies as applicable.
- Ensure changes in instruments, reagents, methods, or processes are properly assessed and documented.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
