Job Summary:

Responsible for inspection, testing, troubleshooting and maintenance of Solar PV panels, inverters, and associated electrical systems to ensure maximum performance and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

*1. Solar Panel Checking:*

- Visual inspection of panels for cracks, hot spots, discoloration, soiling, shading

- Cleaning supervision and checking performance after cleaning

- Testing with multimeter - Open Circuit Voltage (Voc), Short Circuit Current (Isc)

- Checking string voltage, current and power output

- IR thermal scanning for hot spots (if available)

- Checking mounting structure, earthing, and cable connections

*2. Inverter Checking:*

- Daily monitoring of inverter data - generation, faults, alarms

- Checking AC/DC parameters - voltage, current, frequency, power

- Rectifying faults like low insulation, grid fault, over-voltage, over-temp

- Checking inverter display, LED indications, error codes

- Firmware checking and parameter setting

- Preventive maintenance as per OEM checklist

*3. Other Electrical Checks:*

- Checking ACDB, DCDB, AJB, LT panel, MCB, MCCB, fuses, SPD





- Earthing resistance and continuity checking

- Cable checking, termination tightness

- Energy meter reading and data logging

- Maintaining daily generation report and breakdown log

Skills Required:

- Knowledge of Solar PV system, series/parallel connection

- Hands-on with Multimeter, Clamp Meter, Megger, Earth Tester

- Understanding of Inverter working - String / Central

- Basic knowledge of electrical safety and PPE

- Ability to read SLD and electrical drawings

- Reporting in Excel / App

Qualification:

- *For Technician:* ITI / Diploma in Electrical

- *For Engineer:* Diploma / B.E. / http://B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics

- Experience: 0-3 years in Solar O&M; preferred

- Must have valid electrical safety knowledge

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
