Position: Legal Assistant
Department: Legal
Location: Patna, Bihar
Employment Type: Full-Time
Reports To: Legal Manager / Management
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Legal Assistant to support the legal and administrative functions of the organization. The candidate will assist with documentation, legal correspondence, agreements, compliance records, and coordination with external legal professionals whenever required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, reviewing, organizing, and maintaining legal documents, agreements, notices, and correspondence.
- Maintain proper records of contracts, legal files, case-related documents, and statutory documents.
- Coordinate with advocates, legal consultants, government departments, and other external parties as required.
- Assist in drafting basic legal letters, notices, applications, affidavits, and other legal communications.
- Track important legal matters, deadlines, renewals, hearings, and documentation requirements.
- Support the management in maintaining legal and statutory compliance records.
- Conduct basic legal research and collect relevant information for ongoing matters.
- Review agreements and documents for completeness and highlight key points or discrepancies to the reporting manager.
- Assist in preparing documentation for registrations, licenses, permits,
and other legal requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive legal, business, and employee information.
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the legal team.
- Perform other legal and documentation-related tasks assigned by management.
Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) or relevant legal qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in a legal assistant, legal executive, or similar role.
- Good knowledge of legal documentation and basic legal procedures.
- Strong drafting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Good command of MS Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
- Good organizational and follow-up skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams and external legal professionals.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
