Job Title: Transport Manager

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will ensure safe, efficient, and reliable transportation services for students and staff, manage vehicle maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and supervise daily transportation operations for students and staff.

Manage a fleet of school buses and other vehicles, ensuring their proper maintenance and safety.

Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures.

Coordinate with drivers and staff to ensure timely pickups and drop-offs.

Monitor vehicle routes and schedules for efficiency and safety.

Ensure compliance with traffic laws, safety regulations, and internal policies.

Maintain records related to vehicle maintenance, driver logs, fuel consumption, and incident reports.

Recruit, train, and supervise drivers and support staff.

Manage transportation budgets, expenses, and procurement of vehicle parts and supplies.

Liaise with parents, school administration, and external agencies as needed.

Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for drivers.





Handle emergencies and resolve transportation-related issues promptly.

Monitor GPS system and ensure timely reaching

Monitor Fuel filling and ensure to maintain the average milage of the busses

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation or related field.

Proven experience as a Transport Manager or similar role, preferably in the education sector.

Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, safety standards, and traffic regulations.

Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to handle emergencies and resolve conflicts effectively.

Familiarity with route planning software and transportation management systems.

Valid driving license and clean driving record preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in transportation management.

Experience working with private schools or educational institutions is a plus.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
