We are looking for a creative and versatile Video Editor & Videographer to join our News Platform. The candidate will be responsible for editing daily news videos, reels, shorts, interviews, and social media content, as well as shooting videos whenever required.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a rapid-paced news environment and able to handle both video production and post-production.

Key Responsibilities

- Edit daily news videos, reels, shorts, interviews, and social media content.
- Shoot videos for news coverage, interviews, events, locations, and other content when required.
- Handle basic camera setup, framing, lighting, and audio recording.
- Capture high-quality footage suitable for social media and digital platforms.
- Convert raw footage into engaging short-form and long-form videos.
- Add captions, headlines, graphics, transitions, sound effects, music, and other visual elements.
- Create videos optimized for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other platforms.
- Work with the editorial and social media teams to understand content requirements.
- Handle urgent video requirements for breaking news and time-sensitive content.
- Select appropriate footage, images, music, and visual elements to improve storytelling.
- Maintain brand consistency across all video content.
- Make revisions based on feedback and deliver content within deadlines.
- Stay updated with trending video formats, editing techniques,



and social media trends.

Required Skills

- 6 months to 2 years of professional video editing experience.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or After Effects.
- Basic knowledge of camera operation and video shooting.
- Understanding of framing, composition, lighting, and audio.
- Good understanding of short-form video content and social media formats.
- Strong sense of timing, transitions, typography, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple videos and priorities simultaneously.

Preferred

- Experience working with news/media content.
- Experience shooting interviews, events, or outdoor content.
- Knowledge of Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts trends.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics.
- Knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi/English news content will be an advantage.
