We are looking for an experienced and proactive HR Manager to manage and oversee the organization’s complete HR operations. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll, statutory compliance, employee relations, and performance management.
The HR Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HR practices that support business objectives, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle from manpower planning to candidate selection and offer closure.
- Source candidates through job portals, professional networks, referrals, agencies, and other channels.
- Screen profiles, conduct interviews, and coordinate with department heads for final selection.
- Prepare and issue offer letters and appointment documentation.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and monitor recruitment metrics such as time-to-hire and cost-per-hire.
- Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for current and future requirements.
2. Employee Onboarding & Induction
- Manage the complete onboarding process for new employees.
- Coordinate documentation, background verification, joining formalities, and employee records.
- Conduct HR induction and ensure employees understand company policies, procedures, and benefits.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a smooth joining experience.
- Monitor probation and confirmation processes.
3. Payroll Management
- Manage and coordinate the monthly payroll process, ensuring accuracy and timely salary processing.
- Verify attendance, leave, overtime, incentives, deductions, reimbursements, and other payroll inputs.
- Coordinate with finance/accounts teams and payroll vendors as required.
- Ensure proper maintenance of payroll and employee compensation records.
- Address employee queries related to salary, deductions, leave, and benefits.
4. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
- Manage statutory requirements relating to PF, ESI, Professional Tax, TDS, Gratuity, Bonus, Labour Welfare Fund, and other applicable regulations.
- Coordinate timely preparation and submission of statutory returns and payments.
- Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and auditors when required.
- Keep management informed about changes in labour laws and their impact on the organization.
5. Performance Management
- Implement and manage the organization’s performance appraisal process.
- Coordinate goal setting, periodic reviews, performance evaluations, and appraisal cycles.
- Work with managers to establish measurable KPIs/KRAs.
- Identify performance gaps and coordinate performance improvement plans where required.
- Support career development, succession planning, and employee growth initiatives.
6. Employee Relations & HR Operations
- Handle employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns professionally.
- Ensure consistent implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel records.
- Monitor attendance, leave,
employee movements, and HR documentation.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Develop and update HR policies in line with business requirements and applicable laws.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, preferably with hands-on HR operations experience.
- Solid knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition practices.
- Practical experience in payroll processing and statutory compliance.
- Good understanding of applicable labour laws and HR regulations.
- Experience in performance management and appraisal systems.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Robust proficiency in MS Excel and HRMS/payroll systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Pay: From ₹45,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ernakulam, Kerala: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
