Job Title: Senior service engineer/Asst Manager - services

Location: Hyderabad

Experience : 8-10 Years

Industry: Mining and Tunnelling equipment services and after market

Objective of the Role

The primary objective of the role is to lead and coordinate service operations, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, timely technical support, customer satisfaction, and productive utilization of manpower and resources, while contributing to service business growth and continuous improvement

Job Responsibility / KRA

Customer Satisfaction & Relationship Management

- Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure timely resolution of service-related issues.
- Manage day-to-day service, application engineering, and customer support activities.

Business Forecasting & Pipeline Management

- Maintain an accurate service business pipeline and provide regular revenue forecasts.
- Track business performance against targets and identify growth opportunities.
- Drive aftermarket parts sales for key mining customers.





Technical Service & Engineering Support

- Provide technical expertise, troubleshooting, and engineering support to customers and internal teams.
- Recommend corrective actions and improvements for recurring technical issues.

Warranty Management

- Manage warranty issues from identification through documentation and final settlement.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date warranty records and timely claim closure.

Safety & Process Compliance

- Ensure compliance with company safety policies, service procedures, and quality standards.
- Promote safe working practices and timely closure of process or safety deviations.

Documentation & Service Reporting

- Maintain accurate records of service activities, job progress, delays, faults, and customer requirements.
- Prepare timely service and project completion reports with recommendations.

Competencies (which are required for performing the above tasks)

- Strong technical knowledge along with schematics reading, RCA and warranty settlement.
- Skills required : Microsoft applications
- Abilities : Strong communication skills and convincing the customers, work under pressure conditions
- Relevant Work Experience : 10 Years

Special Working Conditions :- Extensive travelling including to remote areas

Education Qualification: Btech/BE in Mechanical/electrical/automobile

Reporting Manager: Rudramuni Agadi – Parts sales and service manager.
