Position: Milling Operator

Experience Required

- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Milling Machine operation.
- Candidates with experience in SPM, automation, jig, fixture, and precision component machining will be preferred.
- Freshers are not eligible.

Job Responsibilities

- Operate conventional milling machines for machining SPM and automation components.
- Read and understand mechanical drawings, dimensions, and tolerances.
- Perform milling, drilling, tapping, slotting, facing, and other machining operations.
- Set up machines, cutting tools, workpieces, and fixtures as per job requirements.
- Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds.
- Check component dimensions using Vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, and other measuring instruments.
- Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
- Inspect finished components and ensure they meet drawing specifications.
- Identify and correct basic machining and dimensional issues.
- Maintain machines, tools, and work areas properly.




- Follow production schedules and complete jobs within the required time.
- Follow company quality and safety procedures.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in conventional milling machine operation.
- Good knowledge of machining processes and cutting tools.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings.
- Valuable knowledge of measuring instruments.
- Ability to work independently and handle machining jobs with minimum supervision.
- Knowledge of SPM and automation components will be an added advantage.

Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Machinist, or related technical qualification.

Candidate Requirements

- Only experienced candidates will be considered.
- Relevant experience in SPM / Automation / Engineering Manufacturing is preferred.
- Candidates should be willing to work in Thirumullaivoyal, Chennai.
