Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO). The consultant will be responsible for SAP FICO implementation, configuration, support, troubleshooting, and integration activities at the client site.

The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of SAP FI/CO processes, excellent client-facing skills, and experience working independently with business users and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

· Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP FICO functional solutions.

· Configure and support SAP FI modules including:

o General Ledger (GL)

o Accounts Payable (AP)

o Accounts Receivable (AR)

o Asset Accounting (AA)

o Bank Accounting

o Taxation

o Financial Closing

· Configure and support SAP CO processes including:

o Cost Center Accounting

o Profit Center Accounting

o Internal Orders

o Product Costing

o Profitability Analysis (CO-PA)

· Handle SAP FICO integration with MM, SD, PP and other SAP modules.

· Prepare functional specifications and work closely with ABAP/technical teams for developments and enhancements.

· Participate in requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing and deployment.

· Conduct unit testing, integration testing, UAT support and defect resolution.

· Provide production support and troubleshoot critical business issues.

· Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.

· Prepare functional documentation, configuration documents and user manuals.

· Interact directly with client stakeholders and business users to understand requirements and provide solutions.

· Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams and ensure timely delivery of assigned activities.

· Participate in SAP implementation, rollout, migration and upgrade projects as required.

Required Skills & Experience

· 5+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience.





· Strong knowledge of SAP FI and CO configuration and business processes.

· Experience in at least one SAP implementation/support/rollout project.

· Strong understanding of integration between FICO and MM/SD/PP.

· Good knowledge of financial accounting and controlling concepts.

· Experience in issue analysis, root-cause identification and resolution.

· Good understanding of SAP master data and transaction processes.

· Experience working with business users and client stakeholders.

· Robust communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.

Preferred Skills

· Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.

· Knowledge of Universal Journal / ACDOCA.

· Experience with SAP Fiori and S/4HANA financial processes.

· Knowledge of SAP migration/conversion projects.

· Experience with interfaces, IDocs and integration scenarios.

· SAP FICO certification is an added advantage.

· Experience in global implementation or multi-country projects is preferred.

· Willingness to work from the client location/onsite as required.

· Strong client-facing and stakeholder-management skills.

· Ability to conduct workshops, requirement discussions and solution walkthroughs.

· Flexibility to work according to client business hours when required.

· Ability to coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore teams.

Education

· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

· MBA Finance / CA / CMA or equivalent financial qualification is an advantage.
