About the Role

United Recruiting is a Canadian staffing agency looking for a reliable and experienced Remote Recruiter to join our recruitment team.

You will be responsible for handling incoming candidate calls, posting jobs, screening applicants, preparing candidate profiles, scheduling interviews, following up with candidates, and keeping our recruitment system updated.

This is a rapid-paced position. We are looking for someone who is confident speaking with candidates, organized, responsive, and comfortable handling multiple open positions at the same time.

Responsibilities

- Answer incoming candidate calls and messages
- Make outbound calls to applicants and potential candidates
- Post job openings on Indeed, Facebook, LinkedIn and other platforms
- Review resumes and applications
- Conduct initial candidate screening calls
- Explain job duties, pay rates, schedules and work locations
- Shortlist qualified candidates
- Create professional candidate profiles for client submission
- Format and organize candidate resumes when required
- Schedule interviews and orientations
- Send candidates application links and job information
- Collect resumes, identification and required documents
- Follow up regarding interviews, start dates and attendance
- Confirm candidates for upcoming shifts
- Update candidate information and notes in our ATS/CRM
- Maintain organized candidate pipelines
- Assist with urgent and same-day staffing requirements
- Provide a daily recruitment activity report

Requirements

- Minimum 1 year of recruitment or staffing experience preferred
- U.S. or Canadian staffing experience is a strong advantage
- Experience with high-volume recruitment is preferred
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Confident and professional telephone communication
- Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of calls
- Experience using Indeed, LinkedIn and other job boards
- Experience with ATS/CRM systems is an advantage
- Strong computer and internet skills
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision

Preferred Recruitment Experience

Candidates with experience recruiting for the following industries are strongly preferred:

- Warehouse
- Manufacturing
- General Labour
- Logistics
- Drivers
- Production
- Skilled Trades

Experience as a U.S. Non-IT Recruiter, Staffing Recruiter, Recruitment Coordinator or Talent Acquisition Specialist is especially valuable.

This is not simply an administrative HR position. You will be actively recruiting and communicating with candidates throughout your shift.

Schedule

Monday–Friday

7:00 AM–2:00 PM Toronto, Canada Time

4:30 PM - 11:30PM INDIA TIME

Applicants must be comfortable working according to Toronto time throughout the year.

Compensation

₹25,000–₹35,000 per month

Final compensation will depend on recruitment experience, English communication skills and previous North American staffing experience.

Performance bonuses may be available based on results.
