Accounts Officer

Job Description/Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to handle day-to-day accounting activities, purchase and expense booking, vendor reconciliation, journal entries. The candidate should have practical knowledge of SAP/Tally and Advanced Excel.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle purchase invoice and expense booking in SAP/Tally.

Verify invoices with PO, GRN, Delivery Challan and supporting documents.

Prepare and post Journal Entries (JV) for provisions, expenses, and other accounting transactions.

Knowledge of applicable TDS sections such as 194C, 194H, 194I, 194J and 194Q.

Assist in monthly closing and finalization of accounts.

Track pending invoices, GRNs and accounting queries and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.

Support internal and statutory audits by providing required documents and reconciliations.

Maintain proper accounting records and ensure timely completion of accounting activities.

Required Skills





Robust knowledge of Purchase & Expense Accounting.

Good knowledge of Journal Entries and Accounting Principles.

Practical knowledge of TDS sections.

Working knowledge of SAP / SAP Business One and Tally.

Strong Advanced Excel skills.

Knowledge of Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF formulas,filters and MIS reporting.

Good analytical, communication and follow-up skills.

Ability to work independently and meet monthly closing deadlines.

Qualification & Experience

B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification.

1-2 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance.

Candidates with hands-on experience in SAP/Tally, TDS, purchase accounting and Advanced Excel will be preferred.

Job Location:Chembur

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
