Secondary Coordinator
Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Secondary Coordinator to oversee the academic coordination and smooth functioning of the Secondary Section. The ideal candidate should have strong academic leadership skills, sound knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment practices, and the ability to effectively coordinate teachers, students and academic processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the academic functioning of the Secondary Section in alignment with CBSE guidelines and school policies.
- Prepare and monitor academic plans, lesson planning, assessments and examination schedules.
- Coordinate with PGTs and subject teachers for effective curriculum implementation.
- Monitor syllabus completion, academic progress and learning outcomes.
- Review students' academic performance and identify areas requiring intervention.
- Conduct regular academic reviews and coordinate remedial/enrichment activities.
- Support teachers in maintaining academic records, assessment documentation and other required school records.
- Coordinate internal examinations, periodic assessments and other academic activities.
- Ensure timely submission and accuracy of academic reports and documentation.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers.
- Support teachers in implementing effective teaching-learning practices.
- Coordinate with the Principal and academic leadership team regarding academic planning and concerns.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, students and parents whenever required.
- Ensure discipline,
academic standards and smooth day-to-day functioning of the Secondary Section.
- Stay updated with CBSE curriculum, examination patterns, assessment practices and academic guidelines.
Essential Qualifications
- Post-Graduation / Master's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized University – Mandatory.
- B.Ed. from a recognized university/institution – Mandatory.
- Candidate must meet the applicable PGT-level qualification requirements for the concerned subject.
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience, preferably with experience as a PGT in a CBSE/recognized school.
- Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum, academic planning, assessment and examination processes.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in academic coordination, grade coordination or subject coordination.
- Previous experience in a Coordinator / Academic Coordinator / Senior PGT role will be an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good command of English.
- Proficiency in MS Office and school ERP/academic management systems.
- Ability to manage multiple academic responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Strong team management and problem-solving skills.
Who Can Apply?
Candidates currently working as PGTs, Senior PGTs, Academic Coordinators or experienced Secondary Section Coordinators with the required educational qualifications and relevant school experience are encouraged to apply.
Note: Candidates without the mandatory Post-Graduation and B.Ed. qualifications will not be considered for this position.
Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
