Job Description: Purchase Coordinator

Role Objective

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Coordinator to join our team at Petra Creations Pvt. Ltd. You will be the bridge between our vendors and internal departments, ensuring that materials are procured efficiently, on time, and within budget.

Location: Kakkanadu, Ernakulam

Salary: ₹22,000 – ₹25,000 per month

Language Requirement: Mandatory fluency in Hindi, English, Malayalam(Spoken and Written)

Key Responsibilities:

- Vendor Management: Researching potential vendors, requesting quotes, and maintaining a healthy database of reliable suppliers.
- Order Processing: Preparing and tracking Purchase Orders (POs) from initiation to delivery.
- Negotiation: Communicating with vendors to negotiate the best possible prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Inventory Tracking: Coordinating with the warehouse team to monitor stock levels and anticipate procurement needs.
- Quality Check:



Ensuring that the goods received meet company quality standards and resolving any discrepancies (damaged goods, wrong quantities) with the supplier.
- Documentation: Maintaining accurate records of invoices, receipts, and contracts for audit and payment purposes.
- Coordination: Liaising with the Accounts department for timely vendor payments and with the Production team to ensure material availability.

Requirements:

Education: Any Graduate.

Experience: 1 to 3 years, Some experience in buying/purchasing or office work is a plus.

Skills: Good at talking to people, basic computer knowledge (Excel), and positive with numbers.

Language: Fluent Hindi is mandatory, Malayalam, English
