We are seeking an experienced Calypso Business Analyst to join our Capital Markets practice. The role focuses on delivering business analysis and functional solutions within the Calypso platform across Back Office operations, trade lifecycle, settlements, and related modules. You will work closely with business stakeholders and technology teams to implement, enhance, and support Calypso-based solutions.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Calypso.

Work with business and technology teams to define functional solutions within the Calypso platform.

Support Back Office processes including trade processing, settlements, confirmations, accounting, and reconciliations.

Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, and Technology stakeholders.

Perform functional analysis, gap analysis, and solution design.

Support system integration, SIT/UAT testing, and production issue resolution.

Create and maintain functional specifications, test cases, and user documentation.

Participate in release planning, change management, and production support activities.

Skills

Must have

6-8 years of strong experience as a Business Analyst in Calypso Back Office, with hands-on functional experience in Calypso Back Office modules.

Solid expertise in Calypso Back Office, with a solid understanding of post-trade processing and the end-to-end trade lifecycle from trade capture through settlement.

Mandatory knowledge of the Calypso Collateral Management module, including collateral processing and related workflows.





Strong understanding of Capital Markets products, including FX, Money Market, Fixed Income, Bonds, Derivatives, and Interest Rate Swaps (IRS).

Good understanding of Back Office processes, including settlements, confirmations, corporate actions, reconciliations, and trade lifecycle management.

Experience in requirement gathering, business analysis, functional specifications/documentation, process analysis, and stakeholder management.

Exposure to production support, issue analysis, defect resolution, and coordination with technology/business teams.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with business users, technology teams, and other stakeholders.

Nice to have

Exposure to Calypso Accounting (GL, P&L;, Accounting Events, Accounting Books, Accounting Rules).

Experience with OPL (Official P&L;) configuration or Finance modules.

Exposure to Product Control or Finance domain.

Experience with Calypso upgrades or migration projects.

Basic SQL knowledge for data analysis and validation.

Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall delivery models.

Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements.

Knowledge of hedge accounting or liquidation processes.
