Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager to manage the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of our fabric manufacturing company. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, taxation, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing cost control.

The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, managing statutory compliance, preparing financial reports, and supporting management with financial insights for business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
- Supervise the Accounts team and coordinate their daily activities.
- Maintain General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, and Cash/Bank transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely collections and payments.
- Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI and other applicable statutory compliances.
- Ensure timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory returns.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, and statutory authorities whenever required.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for internal and statutory audits.
- Monitor inventory accounting, stock valuation, raw material, work-in-progress, and finished goods accounting.
- Work closely with production and purchase teams to monitor manufacturing costs and inventory movements.
- Analyze cost of production,



gross margins, expenses, and variances.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning, and financial analysis.
- Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost control.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable accounting standards.
- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to minimize financial risks.
- Provide accurate financial information and reports to the management for decision-making.
- Identify accounting discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter / CMA / M.Com qualification will be an added advantage.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a textile, fabric, garment, or manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
- Positive understanding of manufacturing accounts and cost accounting.
- Experience in inventory and stock accounting.
- Proficiency in Tally / ERP software and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and team-management abilities.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
