Job Title: Power Press Operator

Job Overview:

We are hiring an experienced Power Press Operator for our manufacturing plant in Waluj MIDC. The selected candidate will handle setup and production runs on mechanical and C-frame power presses, ensuring adherence to cycle times, safety norms, and dimensional accuracy for sheet metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate mechanical and hydraulic power presses (C-frame / gap frame) for piercing, blanking, bending, and forming operations.

- Carry out basic die setting, bolster plate clamping, and shut height adjustments under supervisor guidance.

- Conduct mandatory pre-shift safety checks: two-hand push buttons, photoelectric light curtains, and emergency stop systems.

- Monitor machine health during runs, including motor drive loading, flywheel rotation, clutch/brake engagement, and centralized lubrication points.





- Perform in-process quality inspection using vernier calipers, micrometers, and Go/No-Go gauges against component drawing limits.

- Clear scrap chutes and burrs promptly to prevent tooling jam-ups or damage.

- Record hourly output, scrap rates, and machine idle time in shift log sheets.

Requirements:

- ITI (Fitter / Machinist / Turner) or 10th/12th standard with proven press shop experience.

- 1–4 years of hands-on experience running power presses in an engineering or automotive stamping unit.

- Familiarity with measuring instruments (vernier caliper, micrometer) and standard drawing tolerances.

- Working knowledge of industrial safety procedures and PPE compliance.

- Immediate joiners located in or around Waluj / Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.75 - ₹26,658.15 per month
