Key Responsibilities
Position: Piping Engineer

Location: Dahej, Gujarat
Experience: 8 to 12 Years
Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Piping Engineer to join a large-scale industrial project team. The selected candidate will be responsible for engineering, design review, construction support, and coordination of piping activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Review and verify piping designs, layouts, isometrics, and engineering deliverables.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Process Engineering.




Monitor piping installation activities and ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
Review material specifications, piping classes, valve datasheets, and vendor documents.
Ensure adherence to applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
Support construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
Participate in technical discussions with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
Identify and resolve site-related engineering issues.
Conduct field inspections and ensure quality workmanship during execution.
Prepare technical reports, progress updates, and engineering documentation.
Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and industry best practices.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of piping engineering principles and industrial plant projects.
Experience in chemical, petrochemical, refinery, chlor-alkali, fertilizer, or process plant projects.
Familiarity with ASME, ANSI, API, and relevant international codes and standards.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs;, piping layouts, GA drawings, and isometrics.
Experience in piping material selection and stress-related considerations.
Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software/tools.
Candidate Profile
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
8 to 12 years of relevant experience in piping engineering and project execution.
Willingness to work at the project site in Dahej, Gujarat.
Strong technical aptitude and stakeholder management skills.
