Job Summary

The Two-Wheeler Spare Parts In-charge will oversee the everyday operations of the dealership's parts department. The core mission is to maintain 100% stock accuracy, eliminate tracking errors, ensure the internal workshop operates without delays due to missing parts, and maximize retail counter sales.

Key Responsibilities : Inventory & Stock Management

- Stock Accuracy: Maintain perfect alignment between physical stock and the digital Dealership Management System (DMS) or Tally.
- Order Optimization: Utilize parts catalogs and part numbers to order exact specifications from original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
- Stock Controls: Implement First-In, First-Out (FIFO) methods and conduct regular perpetual inventory audits to prevent aging stock.
- Dead Stock Management: Minimize cash blockages by tracking, identifying, and reducing dead or slow-moving stock.

Inward & Outward Logistics

- Receiving Shipments: Verify incoming items against purchase invoices, inspect for damages, and properly tag/bin items.
- Workshop Fulfillment: Coordinate closely with the service department and mechanics to supply required parts quickly, keeping vehicle turnaround time minimal.
- Return Management: Process part returns, transit damages, and warranty claims back to the manufacturer promptly.

Sales & Customer Coordination

- Counter Sales:



Handle over-the-counter retail customers and independent local workshops looking to buy genuine spare parts.
- Quotations: Provide quick and accurate price estimates for replacement parts and optional accessories.

Reporting & Admin

- Financial Reconciliations: Share monthly intake, sales productivity, and reconciliation reports with the accounting team.
- Safety Protocols: Keep the storage and warehouse areas clean, safe, organized, and secure against theft.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Any Graduate degree or a Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 3* to 5+ years* of direct experience managing spare parts inside a two-wheeler dealership or auto components distributor.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with DMS software and Microsoft Excel. Strong capability reading parts microfiches or catalogs.
- Domain Knowledge: Comprehensive technical understanding of two-wheeler components (engine parts, electrical components, body panels, etc.).
- Soft Skills: Active problem-solving, strong leadership for managing warehouse helpers, and clear communication under pressure

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per hour
