Junior Accountant / Recovery Executive

ob Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant / Recovery Executive to manage day-to-day accounting activities, customer collections, and account reconciliation. The ideal candidate should have basic accounting knowledge, positive communication skills, and the ability to follow up with customers for timely payments.

Key Responsibilities

Accounts

- Record daily accounting transactions in the ERP/accounting software.
- Prepare sales, purchase, payment, and receipt entries.
- Reconcile bank statements, customer ledgers, and vendor accounts.
- Maintain invoices, vouchers, and other financial records.
- Assist in preparing GST-related data and other financial reports.
- Support the Accounts Manager with month-end closing activities.

Recovery

- Follow up with customers for outstanding payments via phone, email, and WhatsApp.
- Maintain an updated outstanding receivables report.
- Ensure collections are made within the approved credit period.
- Coordinate with the sales team regarding overdue accounts.




- Collect and maintain Post-Dated Cheques (PDCs), where applicable.
- Resolve customer payment-related queries and discrepancies.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Tally/ERP software.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 0–2 years of experience in Accounts, Finance, or Recovery (Freshers with good accounting knowledge may also apply).

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of GST and basic taxation.
- Experience in customer payment follow-up and reconciliation.
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally, Busy, or SAP.

Salary

- As per company standards and candidate experience.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
