About the Role

Chai Shots is looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, bookkeeping, reconciliations, and support monthly financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Tally/Zoho Books, GST/TDS basics, and vendor/customer accounting.

Key Responsibilities

· Handle day-to-day accounting entries including sales, purchase, expenses, receipts, and payments.

· Maintain ledgers, journal entries, asset records, and ensure books are updated accurately.

· Manage accounts payable and receivable including vendor bills, payment processing, follow-ups, and basic ageing analysis.

· Perform daily/weekly/monthly bank reconciliations and match balances with books.

· Assist in monthly closing activities and preparation of trial balance, P&L; schedules, and other basic financial reports.

· Prepare and maintain documentation for GST/TDS workings and support with return filings.

· Coordinate with auditors by providing required data, vouchers, and schedules.

· Track inventory entries, coordinate with warehouse teams for stock updates,



and assist in reconciliations.

· Maintain proper documentation, vouchers, and filing systems for audits and compliance.

· Follow up with customers for payments and support in preparing basic receivables reports.

· Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and company financial policies.

Requirements

- Semi-Qualified CA with strong accounting expertise.
- 2-4 years of experience in core accounting and compliance.
- Solid knowledge of GST, TDS, and general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Zoho Books and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently with accuracy and ownership.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
